Built on trust. Aiming higher.
Apex has been a game close to me for years, so when I started expanding my work in the scene, I wanted to do it with a player I genuinely believed in. Nono stood out quickly. Despite his age, he already showed the qualities I look for in an IGL: composure, clear communication, responsibility and the ability to lift the people around him, while still being capable of making the difference individually.
Building trust with Nono and his family was important from the beginning.
Building the relationship around him mattered just as much. I had the opportunity to speak with his father, explain how I work and earn his trust. Those conversations created a strong foundation between us and made it possible to work with the same long-term vision around Nono's development.
Today, the goal is not to rush Nono into the first available opportunity. We are working together to identify a project that matches his ambition, gives him the right teammates and structure, and allows him to keep growing without losing what makes him special as a leader.
Now, the focus is finding the project that gives him the best conditions to keep progressing.
My role is to make sure the environment around him is as strong as the player himself. Working with Nono is a real pleasure because he is constantly looking to improve. The ambition is simple: help him take the next step, compete against the best and build a career that reflects the level he is capable of reaching.
