Michael “Rust ez” Fargeau is a 19-year-old French Rocket League player whose game is marked by mechanics that can be genuinely surprising . He has the ability to create situations out of very little, with an instinctive style that makes him difficult to read and gives him plenty of room to keep developing.

His time with GameWard was a solid step in that progression. It was a good season without necessarily being a breakout one, but his level kept moving in the right direction throughout it. The clearest part of that period was the constant improvement - becoming more complete, more consistent and better equipped for the next opportunity.

Michael is one of the young players I have had the chance to support, and with him, everything has always felt simple - he has a strong ability to listen, he always tries to understand, he asks questions, and that makes him a pleasure to work with because he is genuinely involved in the process.

The deal with GameWard was also about bringing him into every part of the discussion. I wanted him to understand as much as possible - what I was doing, why I was doing it, and how each step could help him. Putting him in the right conditions with Razer gear mattered as well, and with Michael the support has been end-to-end - from the signature to the invoices, and from setting up his company to learning how to handle the professional side of his career.
